Privacy Policy for the FY2026 Shizuoka Prefecture Foreign Talent Matching Support Project
(Applicable to Both Companies and Job Seekers)
Pasona Inc. ("Pasona," "we," "our," or "us") has been commissioned by the Shizuoka Prefectural Government to operate the FY2026 Shizuoka Prefecture Foreign Talent Matching Support Project (the "Project").
In implementing the Project, Pasona collects, uses, manages, and handles personal information on behalf of the Shizuoka Prefectural Government in accordance with the following policy.

1. Personal Information We Collect
We may collect the following personal information provided through the Project:
  • Name
  • Address
  • Telephone number
  • E-mail address
  • Information provided in application forms
  • Any other information voluntarily submitted by participants

2. Purpose of Use
The personal information collected through the Project will be used solely for registration and use of the online matching system and for the implementation of events and related services under the Project. Specifically, personal information will be used for the following purposes:
  1. To provide information regarding Project events and services.
  2. To process registrations and applications and to properly administer the Project.
  3. To respond to and manage inquiries, requests, and opinions regarding the Project and foreign employment.
  4. To prepare and analyze statistical data related to the Project.
  5. To prepare reports on the Project's performance and outcomes.
  6. To provide information regarding seminars and related programs organized by the Shizuoka Prefectural Government or affiliated organizations.
  7. To provide personal information to third parties as described in Section 5 (Provision to Third Parties).
Personal information will not be used for any purpose other than those stated above.

3. Voluntary Provision of Personal Information
Providing personal information is voluntary.
However, if the required information is not provided, we may be unable to appropriately provide services or fulfill the purposes of the Project.

4. Transfer of Personal Information to the Project Owner
Personal information provided to Pasona will be transferred to the Shizuoka Prefectural Government, which is the project owner.

5. Provision to Third Parties
Your personal information may be provided within the scope of the stated purposes to the following third parties.
(1) Participating Companies
Purpose
To implement and administer the Project and its related events.

Through the Project's online matching platform EventHub, written documents, e-mail, or other electronic means, including Pasona's systems.

(2) Participating Foreign Talent
Purpose
To implement and administer the Project and its related events.

Through EventHub, written documents, e-mail, or other electronic means, including Pasona's systems.

(3) Co-organizing Organizations
Purpose
To ensure the proper operation of the Project and improve its outcomes.
Personal Information Provided
Personal information necessary for the above purpose.
Method of Provision
Through EventHub, written documents, e-mail, or other electronic means, including Pasona's systems.

6. Outsourcing
Pasona may outsource part of the handling of personal information to external service providers within the scope necessary for the purposes described above.
Prior to outsourcing, Pasona carefully evaluates each contractor to ensure that appropriate personal information protection measures are in place, including overseas contractors where applicable.
Confidentiality agreements are executed with all contractors, and Pasona exercises appropriate supervision, including requiring the secure return or destruction of personal information upon completion of the contracted services.

  • Suspension of provision to third parties

8. Management of Personal Information and Transfer to Successor Projects
Pasona implements appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, loss, or damage of personal information in accordance with applicable laws, the contract with the Shizuoka Prefectural Government, and Pasona's internal regulations.
If a successor project with the same objectives is implemented in the following fiscal year and the participant wishes to continue using such project, personal information held by the Shizuoka Prefectural Government may be transferred to the contractor appointed for the subsequent fiscal year to ensure the smooth continuation of the Project.
